- At the 2006 ASME Pressure Vessels and Piping Division Conference held in Vancouver, Canada on July 23-27, in the PVP2006-ICPVT-11-93292 Experimental Evaluation of Screw Thread Loosening in Bolted Joint with Some Parts for Preventing the Loosening Under Transverse Repeated Loadings, it was announced that the Hard Lock nut (Eccentric nut) was most effective in looseness perpendicular to the axis.
