Katsuhiko WakabayashiIt was more than 55 years ago when I developed and released the U Nut, the first looseness prevention fastener, but the U Nut’s effect fell short when subjected to particularly harsh shocks and vibrations. In 1974, the Hardlock Nut was developed and released, capable of preventing looseness even in the harshest environments. However, there is still room for improvement, and everyone at Hardlock is dedicated to creating an even better product. Working from the motto “safety is power,” we have established a record of providing safety and security to critical locations in Japan and abroad. We will maintain the trust that we have established and move forward with product development, continuing to work together as a company to achieve the purpose stated in our mission.
